Lisa Bolgar Smith is managing partner of Ambrose Appelbe and head of the Matrimonial and Family Department.

Lisa specialises in national and international family cases involving divorce and ancillary relief, complex financial matters and all aspects of cases involving children, including child abduction. She also specialises in matters involving cohabitees.

Lisa is trained as a mediator in Family Law. She is a member of Resolution (the Solicitors Family Law Association) and the Family Mediators Association. 

Lisa has completed the Resolution Collaborative Training and is now a Collaborative Family Lawyer. She is now one of the Resolution lawyers who has committed to adopting a non-confrontational approach to divorce by encouraging couples to seek shared solutions and to reach agreement.

She is also a member of the Relate Quality Partnership and the Holborn Law Society.
