Property We can assist with a wide range of property matters, whether freehold property or leasehold and whether residential property or business property. Many transactions simply involve going through the formal conveyancing stages to give legal effect to an agreed deal. We are efficient and cost-effective and aim to do what has to be done in the minimum time, with a personal touch not found in every firm of property lawyers. Other property transactions require a closer involvement in the whole process. We work closely with owners, agents, buyers, lenders and others in every aspect of preparing a property for sale or lease, or in identifying properties to buy or rent. There are overlaps between our property expertise and our other main areas of expertise - the property aspects of divorce, the land investments of charities or trusts, and the tax aspects where relevant. We have a particular expertise in farms and other matters relevant to agricultural land. We have strong relationships with other professionals involved in property transactions - estate agents, banks and other lenders, surveyors, auctioneers, architects and others, working as part of a team when this is helpful.
