Robert Schon

Tax

Robert was a corporate tax partner at Simmons & Simmons from 1988 to 2005. His practice was the bridge practice between that firm's private client group and its corporate tax department.
 

He has significant experience in assisting family owned companies on their tax affairs including succession planning from one generation to the next. He has done a lot of work with investment managers including converting established hedge funds managers into an LLP. Robert's has wide experience in helping non-UK corporates establish in the UK. He has done this for a number of US and middle eastern clients.

Whilst at Simmons and Simmons Robert acted as tax partner on significant aspects of the Railtrack float. In addition he has wide experience on all aspects of property transactions.
