R v S: acting for a national firm of land agents alleged to have leaked the reserve on farms sold at auction. Claim for £2m dismissed with costs after a five-day trial
Re: C: acting for one of two defendants (the other was a stockbroker) who, having sold shares forward, were unable to buy the shares due to their sudden suspension. A £4m claim settled following the issue of proceedings on terms favourable to the client.
Re: M: acting for an investor in a company and drawing up loan agreements to protect the investment in the event of default.
Re: H: acting for a shareholder and director of a private limited company wishing to resign his directorship and sell his holding in the company. Valuation of the company was obtained in order to ascertain a realistic figure on which to base negotiations.
