Mediation is especially effective within a family law context, as a major concern for many clients is the preservation of a practical, amicable relationship between them and their ex-spouse, particularly where there are children involved. The way to achieve this is often through Mediation where the cost can be far less in terms of money and emotion than through the Courts.
