James Scott
James Scott is a Consultant in the firm’s Litigation Team. During his 30 years as a solicitor he has gained a wide-ranging experience of many aspects of the law including; environmental/pollution matters, road traffic and transport-related issues, boundary, building and contractual disputes including carriage of goods and CMR contracts, cases involving horses and horse transport and personal injury and negligence claims as well as company formations and sales.
With experience of proceedings in Magistrates' Courts, County Courts, the High Court and Court of Appeal and tribunals of all sorts including VOSA Public Inquiries and the Jockey Club, James also appears as an advocate in the County Court, Magistrates Court, before the tribunals and at public inquiries.
Following the sale of his Gloucestershire practice in 2006, James Scott remained a Consultant with his old firm until moving to Crete in 2007. In 2010 James returned to the UK and joined Ambrose Appelbe.
