Lucie Sleeman
Lucie heads up our Private Client Team and is involved in all aspects of trust and estate planning and administration. Lucie also drafts Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney and as a member of Solicitors for the Elderly, is involved in Elderly Client matters and Court of Protection work.
Lucie has a keen interest in our charity work and is involved in the formation of all new Charities as well as the ongoing administration of existing Charities that the Firm has established and continues to support.
In addition to this, Lucie is a Partner in the Family Team and is involved in a variety of matters covering the broad spectrum of the department's practice but with a particular emphasis on children cases. Lucie also oversees the running of the Property Team in her role as head of Private Client, having retained an interest and understanding of property related issues which proves invaluable both when dealing with matrimonial finances and probate and estate planning.
Lucie joined the firm in 2001 having qualified as a Barrister and is now one of the longest serving fee earners within the Firm. Lucie completed her training contract here in July 2004, and on passing the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test, qualified as a Solicitor also in July 2005. Lucie became a Partner in March 2007. Lucie has applied to become a member of Resolution and is also a member of the Holborn Law Society.
When not looking after her young daughter, Lucie enjoys the gruelling heat of Bikram Yoga and as much tennis as she is able to find the time for.
