HM Land Registry Adjudication: L v M & M successfully acted for applicant in an opposed application to register a Restriction on three properties. Applicant contended that the properties were held by three individuals as tenants in common, in order that a share of one individual’s interest could pass by reason of intestacy to the applicant. Further successful application thereafter for privileged without prejudice correspondence in relation to a settlement agreement on costs to be lifted, after the Adjudicator had assessed costs on at a lower level than that agreed in without prejudice correspondence. Additional costs award on both applications.
U v D successfully acted for claimant at QBD Technology and Construction Court on interim Injunction against defendant’s partial demolition of party fence wall prior to agreement of final party wall award. Claim settled with costs thereafter.
E v C Ltd acting for claimant in lease dispute, specifically rental value and occupation of commercial space as living accommodation. Central issue was independence of Defendant’s expert. Settled at Court.
